They do this by giving homeowners access to a list of safe and reputable engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the Gas Safe Register?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI in 2009 and is now the officially recognised gas registration and licencing body in the UK, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Guernsey. If your work doesn\u2019t pass the inspection, then your probationary period may be extended, and you\u2019ll be offered support to help you complete it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gas safe registration cost<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The price to register one new engineer to the Gas Safe Register for one year is \u00a3362 + VAT, with any additional engineers charged at \u00a353 + VAT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your registration lasts for one year, after which time it must be renewed.
