We spoke to thousands of UK homeowners for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/blog\/home-improvement-trends-report#perfectoffice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Rated People Home Improvement Trends Report: 2021<\/a><\/strong> and learnt that 41% don\u2019t have a proper office desk, 39% don\u2019t have an office chair and 24% are embarrassed by their background on video calls!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s easy to forget simple things that make a huge difference to our working environment, such as enough space and bright light. Poor home office lighting can contribute to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/blog\/how-to-create-the-perfect-sleep-environment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sleepiness<\/a><\/strong> during the day and low picture quality on video calls.
