go to the federation of master builders website and click on free contracts and just a pointer no builder should ever have issues with signing one of these unless they have something to hide!!

HI Daniel first piece of advice : if your friend is a professional, you are sure and trust him the job , why do you what that contract templates ? ( you can find them on the Internet) second piece of advice : if your friend is not a professional, you do not believe in it, and in this case you need this treaty . Your choice .. If I understand we are talking about a written agreement between the artisan and the customer. You should always take pictures before and after application , perfect the whole process of the work piece by piece , especially when it requires expert insurance company if your property is insured . Ideal appeal to an independent craftsman . You can always find professionals on our website , maybe it will be for you a bit more expensive . But count yourself the cost of repair materials , etc.? Require your friend compensation for his non-professional job you can ? Regards Sergejs

Hi Daniel as per your enquiry,I would have thought that you should have had a bathroom fitting professional to have had a look first in case there is any complications, this may cost you money but it's worth doing and you will receive a plan of planned works. This would allow you to monitor the progress. Regards Graeme
