silicone can not be painted best to use decorators caulk (if not to act as water seal) then this can be painted

You are best using Caulk, This can then be painted over.

Silicone can not be painted ,use decorating caulk instead then paint

Hi you should not paint over silicone joints as they are there to provide a waterproof expantion gap.If you need to seal a gap that will be painted you need to use decorators caulk. Regards Alistair A & M Bathrooms

Hi Fred, Silicone can not be painted paint coming off when you painted in 5min use decorating coulk or filler then you can painted Mark Kluk Forrest Fox Painting and decorating
