Hi Annette, Have you checked your fuse board yet? It sounds like a bulb has blown and tripped out the fuse for the upstairs lights. Depending on your fuse board you would probably see that all the switches except 1 are facing the same direction the 1 that's not would need to be reset. You simply more the switch from off to on and hopefully this will solve your problem. You would then find out that 1 off your bulbs does not work and would need replacing. This would off been the cause of your problem. Good Luck, Darren, Red Security.

hi,have you checked the consumer unit to see if any of the mcbs have tripped? if you don't have mcbs you may still have the old type of rewirable fuse if so has it blown?
