Dual fuel cooker installation

Posted by Kirsty Magnier, on
We are having a dual fuel cooker installed, there is an electrical socket right next to the oven, will this be a problem when the gas engineer installs it?

Hi Kirsty , The regulations recommend that any electrical outlet ( socket ,spur ) should be within a safe distance of the hob to avoid any heat that is likely to cause over heating . The safe distance recommended would be 300mm from the hob. I hope this helps Thanks Scott - Bruntwood electrical
