CENTRAL HEATING TOWEL RAIL AND BONDING

Posted by bob welden, on
HI GUYS AND GIRLS, THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR THE ANSWERS SO FAR. MY QUESTION IS THAT A RADIATOR IN MY BATHROOM WAS BONDED AND IT HAS NOW BEEN SWAPPED TO A TOWEL RAIL , NO ELECTRICAL HEATING ELEMENT JUST RUN ON THE CENTRAL HEATING. DOES THIS NEED BONDING AS MY HOUSE IS RCD PROTECTED. KIND REGARDS BILL

Hi bill Now that you state it doesnt have its own electrical spur, it does require supplementary bonding, simply use a bonding clamp between the central heating pipework and the towel rail

What would you like to do now?
