no, i think you need some kind of deflector to prevent this from happening, profiled metal fabricated into the required shape/angle is all i can think of without having more detail or scribe out the cladding where the gutter clips are fixed and refit to existing structure (as i presume they have left this on?) does'nt sound like you've had a very good job here maureen Mick
