Helibar lintel reinforcing.

Have cracked stone lintel above ground floor window in 1866 stone house. Structural surveyor recommended a Helibar type reinforcement. Are there any builders in the Brampton, Haltwhistle, Hexham areas that can take on this work?

Hi Mike I have previous experience in helibar work and other lintel repair work, but unfortunately i am situated in the north west of england so it's just unfortunate really that I don't live nearer. My advice would be to seek out a stonemasonry restoration firm or a structural repair firm who have previous experience in stone lintel repair that is nearer to you. General builders usually lack the know-how on certain areas like this as it is specialist restoration work. Hope this has helped Tom Rawley
