We asked for a side door to be fitted to our garage but when the door was cut out it was miss measured due to the big garage two brick levels were cut out and could not be reused after the mistake was noticed now we are left with a white plastic strip above the door. We ideally want to replace the bricks tidy the side strips up and check the lintel. I have tried to get hold of bricks but it's proving very hard as we are not in the trade.
Replace part of a low front garden wall, then render with pebble dash to match (as best as possible), with existing. Pebble dash finish is hyper important. Use existing brick where possible. Size... no more 2m wide 1m high
Two internal fireplaces that will be taken out and will have gas pipe capped. I am looking for a brickie to come along and brick up the voids and place an air brick in each of the two areas before we get the plasterer in.
We have a Mezzo 76 oven from the Stone Bake Oven Company on one of their bases. What I want is the insulation kit they offer applied to the oven and a brick base built for it to go on. We could even go the whole hog and put a roof on it. The oven is very heavy and needed a team of 3 to get it in place, so worth bearing in mind when it comes to moving things around! Let's have an initial discussion and ideally if you've done something like this before that would build confidence.
Two redbrick walls running along side and front of driveway need replacing, both roughly 4 metres in length and half a metre high.
Want to replace with redbrick again but with taller walls and shorter on the very front.
Happy to wait a bit as long as I can get it booked in.
Due to storm damage I need my wall knocking down and rebuilding. I would like to salvage the attached fence and for that to be reinstated. I will need all waste removing please, or for you to organise a skip as part of the quote.
Assisted living property we look after in Blyth has damp issues in various rooms, this is caused by the poor state of the existing pointing works. We need a quote to correct the pointing where necessary in order to rectify the internal damp problems.
The front wall of a downstairs room with a flat roof which is a patio area.
The wall is fitted with a patio door & extends approximately 1 metre enclosing the flat roof patio.
I think the lack of pointing may be causing a damp problem inside above the patio door.
The fireplace is being opened up this Friday and I want to get a quote for cleaning up and repointing the bricks inside ready for wood burner. A guide at this stage would be very useful and Ill get a full quote when I have pictures to share.
