Need a new 3ft high garden wall built around street-facing front garden of terraced house. Length approx. 12 metres. Half of length is street-facing and connects to metal gate (which is entrance to driveway). The other half runs at an L-shape down between adjoining neighbour's garden, ending at the house.
I have a big stone sea wall between the beach and my garden. It gets a lot of wear from the sea and waves especially in winter. Patches of the stone pointing need repair. Work needs to be done at low tide, using rapid setting cement mortar.
We have a damp problem and after having a damp inspector round he highlighted the roof may be a potential cause. Would like somebody to come round, review the report and have a look at the roof and provide thoughts / a quote for fixing.
Recently bought Victorian house with cavity wall. Discovered damp patches inside. Upon investigation someone had concreted up the bottom 2-3 layers of bricks on one side. Have chipped away the majority but the brick work is blown and needs replacing with new lime mortar. See picture for rough size
Build a tall back garden wall via cheapest method ie breeze blocks. Approx 5m length x 2.5m . Looking for a quote asap within the next week and for the job to be started in 2 - 3 weeks time.
It is for a rental property in Morriston which I own.
It looks like we have some water ingress from an external wall, which is travelling (slowly) along floorboards. We'd like the stonework to be checked, the source of the leak identified, and remedial work undertaken.
We have an existing brick wall, part of which is fine but part is leaning in to next doors garden and needs to be rebuilt. I'm not sure if the bricks in the existing wall are good enough to be re-used or not so it would be great to know how that would affect the cost. I think the section to be rebuilt measures about 10m long x 16 bricks high for one half, double the height for the second half (I can send photos if that's confusing!) although if possible we may only rebuild the entire length to 16 bricks high.
**It's not a garden wall - there was no option for loft wall**
I am looking for someone to install a partition wall in the loft of a victorian terrace off mill road.
I require someone to come and look to tell me if it needs to be brick built or a stud wall please.
Ideally in the next couple of weeks.
I'm not sure if this needs a builder/bricklayer/labourer so I've posted in a few sections.
