Lounge wall has crumbling mortar. 1929/30s single story extension, north facing wall. Suspect some damp appearing inside of wall. Needs repointing / waterproofing somehow.
Approx size is 3m x 4.5m, but contains French doors and windows (approx 2.5m x 2.5m) so actual brick area is approx 8.5m2.
Quote urgently needed for budgeting and planning purposes.
I have the remnants of a chimney in my kitchen which I'd like removing. It's been removed from the floor but from half way up the wall to the ceiling its still there and was plastered over. Its bricked into supporting walls so I'm unsure how safe it is to fully remove without extra support or not.
Needing 1 door and 1 window to be bricked up externally, we have installed a lintel and require the brickwork around it to be finished there is a bit of other pointing and making good, also when a small footing is dug I will require a new double skin wall to be made to tie I’m to an old outbuilding.
And there is a 5 meters x 4 meters garage to be quoted 2.4 high to be constructed out of blocks, a concrete base is already in
Standard size porch base needed at front of house. Footings already in. 3 or 4 engineers courses plus 4 or 5 standard brick courses. I can have materials in place. Just bricking needed. 2.4 m across front with gap for doorway and 1m depth.
3 projects in order of priority:-
1) New Build Porch stub walls (to support a porch) 7 courses high approx 1.2 metres in length with DPC in blue engineering brick with pedestal support both ends (zero vat rated). 2) block infill of the door opening in an outbuilding to make secure. 3) rebuild of patio support wall with DPC and drainage points in engineering brick with pedestal ends.
Replace some bricks (around 6) on the top of a wall and fall in a gap where wall joins. Repace a tile on garage roof and on front door porch - I am looking for someone who can carry out both small jobs at the same time. House is a four bed detached with separate double garage.
I’m looking for a new garden wall to be build. I’m also looking to remove cladding from the bricks under my bay window. My understanding is that the first skin of bricks will then need to be replaced - we will supply bricks to match the property.
