Driveway currently is a mess and floods into the garage when it rains. Need a new driveway with proper drainage and a few ideas about what to do with the driveway with regards to making it more car friendly. Thanks.
Estimate garden size 8m wide 14m long. Side access to garden from road.
Currently there is some raised beds down one side, and a flagged area covering 1/4 of the garden.
1/2 garden has uneven soil that needs removing and levelling.
The back of the garden approx. 1/4 has 2 conifers trees at waist height that need removing.
What I'm after as a finished garden is;
Patio 8m x 4m indian sandstone grey
Turf 8m x 10m
Also I have a Driveway that needs work. Currently half is flagged and half vegetation.
What I'm after as a finished driveway is;
Block paving: 8m x 3m (whole area)
Currently have stairs at front of property. Would like to remove them and build a sloping brick path to the front door. Height of door from base is around 0.6m. Length of walk is 4m. Width is around 2m.
Small plot of land to be converted into parking area adjacent to existing driveway. Clear vegetation, lay drainage pipes, fill in ditch. Planning permission to be applied for to create entrance onto classified road next to existing shared driveway. Large oak tree to be cut down.
Mono block driveway on a steep slope needs to be lifted, the foundation level redone to accommodate the drain covers, and blocks relaid.
Also look for someone to advise on way of reducing riser height of front steps.
Bretton Baptist Church in Copeland, PE3 6YJ has a car park for approx 30 cars but the developers left one single car park space for shrubs. We would be interested in ascertaining the cost of converting this spot to another car park space. The entire car park is tarmac so we would want that finish in this slot. The job would involve digging out some roots and then laying tarmac sufficient to park a car on.
Looking for quotes for a driveway approx 100m2 job will include:
Removing existing concrete flags (approx 50m2).
Digging out of front garden.
New garden wall.
New door steps.
New driveway will be either bonded resin / block combination or block paving depending on price etc.
