Hi. I need two new locks for my front door in block of flats.
1) I’ve lost keys to single cylinder thumbturn so need a replacement
2) latch has broken on night latch and have lost keys to cylinder so need replacement
I will get probably just one job done initially but please feel free to quote for one/both. Would be great to find a reliable local locksmith so if I’m happy with the service then I’ll likely ask if you can do the second job. I need one of the jobs done ASAP (5 August).
I look forward to hearing from you.
Our front door currently has 2 deadlock locks which are difficult to operate. I want them replaced with modern multipoint lock that's compatible with a smart lock - either Yale or Schlage. Happy to take professional recommendation too.
I'm looking for someone to replace/install 5 internal door locks.
Currently we have keypad locks on the doors and we are looking to get these replaced with a 'night latch' lock (or a suitable alternative) and separate door handle so the doors can both be left off the latch as well as locked internally and externally. The separate door handle is so the doors can be fully shut but not locked when closed. Other suggestions welcomed.
One of the doors does also need repairing on the frame at the latch area.
Please do contact me on the details provided as soon as possible to discuss further.
I have a rental property in PR9 0NE that has recently had fire seals fitted on the front door. However, this is causing the door to stick, with it now needing slamming to close at all, and this is also causing the locking mechanism to come loose. Repairs need to be made to ensure the smooth operation of the lock and door with these new fire seals. Thanks.
My front door has a digital lock and deadlock. The digital lock was fitted when I bought the house. The digital key pad has degraded to a point that it looks unsightly and I regard it as insecure. I would like this to be replaced with a conventional lock to complement the deadlock.
Our two front doors have a locking mechanism where we have have to push up on the door handle to get the bolt to extend. Depending on the weather the mechanism becomes stiffer and one has now completely seized up. The mechanism works fine when the door is open, so the issue is likely alingnment with the door frame.
