We are looking to install x2 large alley metal gate at around 10ft high, to expand across an external walkway (about 1 metre wide). The gate will need to have an internal thumb turn with an external key lock, we would be looking at fitting climbing deterrants. details below:
Main Gate - access to 57to72 WSP Dimensions Total Width is 310cms There is a 25cm strip of gravel then a 112cm wide path then 173cm strip of gravel = 310. Total Height of the wall is 267cms Building wall is four storeys high I suggest the alley gate is put up between the exterior light and the downpipe where the straight piece of path adjoins the angled wider part.
FYI the entrance door into the building width is 96cms so the gate would need to be at least this wide.
Side Gate - leading from garden area to main road side of WSP Dimensions Total Width is 140cms - all gravel base Total Height of the wall is 163cms Building wall is 4 storeys high.

Replace existing rotten wood fence with new wrought iron one.
Length of area for new wrought iron fence is 162cm.
For comparison, height of existing gate is 96cm so makes sense to match this if possible.
The job is to weld an ~40cm steel bar (with a rack/gear on) via 2 circular stubs.
The stubs are about 12mm diameter and are to be welded to the bottom frame of the gate, ideally with an all around weld (but access will be difficult at the bottom). There is also a weld between the the steel bar and the adjacent steel bar
The steel is painted. The steel bar has teeth on it because it runs across a gear that turns to open the gate- so the welds have quite a heavy load on them.

The spinning height adjustment on the base of the captain chair is worn the metal coil at the base of the chair is completely worn it needs an extension or the original hole hub needs to be rebored in order to adjust the height smoothly.
