Lambeth Council served a Sec.11 Improvement Notice on me as Landlord of the building. I have to fire-protect the cellar. Others will quote for fitting a plasterboard ceiling above the cellar path and a partition on one side of the cellar path, opposite the party wall with No.63. The ceiling and part of the partition will be above and behind the cylinder area. Therefore, the three cylinders have to be disconnected and removed from the cellar for about one month. While the cylinders are in the back-garden shed, others will do work in the cellar in the cylinder area. Others will also remove the rotting wooden cylinder stand and lay a thick, concrete base for the three cylinders. You will re-position some pipework to free-up space above the cylinders. Once others have completed their work in the cylinder area, you will bring the cylinders back into the cellar and re-connect them. You will also do pre-Start checks and post-Completion checks of all three cylinders .
I am only looking for a quotations for works required due to it being dealt with via NHBC insurers. The work required is to uplift 54 square metres of Travertine tiles 610x610x12mm, 54 square metres of 9mm ply which run through utility, kitchen diner, sunroom and toilet. I have already had a quotation to purchase new travertine tiles and ply of the same dimensions and I require a price to relay tiles and ply. Please include vat and cost of skip hire for disposal of old tiles and ply.
