i have an indoor aerial in the attick - it was working fine for a number of years. It is connected to an adapter box in attick which is connected to another box which connects two aerials, one feeding lounge downstairs and one feeding bedroom upstairs. Both tvs suddently stopped worked and say either no sitgnal or no digital tv signal available or no video cable connected. I checked attick and nothing has changed.
There is a dark patch that appeared on the dining room wall about 6 months ago. It seemed to be fixed when a leaky drainpipe was fixed on the wall outside but now a few smaller darker patches have appeared within the original patch.

recommendation an installation of a replacement multifuel burning stove.
We have a wide but relatively shallow hearth (60cm) that we do not want to make any deeper really.
Width of opening is 105cm.
Ideally we looking for a wider stove than the one we have now, preferably with a “classic” rather than “modern” design, but would consider both.
we have 3 relatively small rooms on our lower ground floor and we have a rising damp issue.
we're after someone to damp proof the perimeter of the rooms and provide some kind of a certificate/guarantee
I am looking for a HETAS engineer to install and commission a wood burning stove with associated works such as installing a flue liner, chimney pot rain cap and register plate. It is a modern standard 2 storey house with purpose built concrete lined chimney. You will need to provide access equipment to the roof. We are looking to get the stove installed w/c 9th October if possible and we would supply just the stove (Helios 5) so please quote for all other materials required.
Inset gas fire wasn't working so had it removed by a gas engineer. House is designed around a central chimney and has not felt as warm since the parkray fire was removed before gas installation. Would like to install a multi fuel stove but want to know if an open fire could be used in the interim. original brick chimney was lowered into attic space and gas safe flu inserted between chimney and outside when gas was installed. No boiler involved, Just need to know if chimney is sound and what needs to be done to make it useable
