We have lived in our Victorian terraced house for just over 2 years. The back wall of the bathroom at the back of the house on the first floor has flaking paintwork which began on the window frame and has spread to the rest of the wall. We have had the roof checked and some repairs made but the flaking paint still seems to be spreading. There are also dark patches starting on the same wall in the kitchen; below the bathroom, which could be the first signs of damp here. Id like to have a damp assessment

I am looking to get two bedroom walls soundproofed. This is to stop me from hearing emergency services sirens outside on a nearby main road. These two walls are the walls which face outside. This is the measurements I have for the bedroom 3.73 x 3.00 (12'2" x 9'10")) from estate agents. Can I get a quote? Many thanks
We have damp patches along the party wall (approx 4.7m wide by 2.8m heigh) between our kitchen and next door’s. They became apparent when our neighbour applied putty-based Lincrusta on his side of the wall.
I believe the plaster needs hacking off up to a metre high, damp treatment carrying out then re-plastering with waterproof plaster and the entire wall skimmed to cover a low-profile swirly plaster effect left over from the 70s.
Small end terrace house.
I get mould in one corner of the upstairs room on external wall. This is obviously worse in winter. One picture shows it at its worse (minus mould, mould grows as the year progresses and we clean away).
We also get mould behind our shutter windows (two pictures show one room worse than other)
We also get ghosting and dark lines above the radiator which is apparently signs of damp (one picture shows ghosting on upstairs wall with mould corner cleaned and repainted)
I currently have laminate flooring through my kitchen/living room area. My neighbours have instructed that I have to put some soundproofing in the floor. Please could you advise what is the cheapest way of doing this and quote for me?
We have an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner that is a messy mixture of old and newish bricks
We would like to bring up to date by covering over the old bricks with some sort of plaster we can then paint
Please advise if you can undertake this
Found rising damp in the bathroom due to which bathroom tiles are coming off. Required urgently damp proofing treatment and fixing the tiles back. Also required replacement of current extraction fan with humidistats and timer fan.
We need estimate of how much it will cost to repair first.
5/6 flagstones in living room seem to be allowing damp through. When raining slight darkening of stones and thin layers of stone flaking.
Walls have been damp proofed, no signs of damp on nearby walls, just the floor.
Old granite cottage has no insulation between stone and plasterboard. Wooden house extensions have inadequate wool insulation. I want to install ceiling, underfloor and exterior wall insulation. Possible application for some external wall insulation.
