So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. On Saturday 14/10/17 Ian Oliver A1 Flooring carried out work he'd quoted on against a job spec submitted on Rated People. He denied ever talking about lifting and removing the existing flooring (clearly stated on spec) and wanted another £250.00 to complete the job, obviously I did not agree to this. I was at work and unable to dispute this in person however I have since tried to contact Ian but he fails to take my calls. His work is amateurish, and unfinished. Seriously think twice before using A1 Flooring

They said they had to inspect my property first! They unscrewed Electrical Sockets, and did not replace the screws. No work was done to my property. They did not come back, to complete any work. They took £180 of me for what? I have never used Rated People after that.
