Aaron is a keen and very hard working general gardener who I tasked with blitzing my 1/3 acre garden which had become overgrown due to my ill health. He was very prompt and kept to agreed times and worked pretty solidly all the time he was onsite. I was presented with weekly invoices listing the hours done which to my view tended to be rounded down so I never felt more hours were being claimed than completed - in reality quite the reverse. Aaron is a general garden maintenance and tree maintenance operative and freely admits to not being a plantsman or hard landscaper. I needed 800 feet of hedges not just clipped but cut right back from where they had been allowed to grow unchecked for a season - this he did along with rooting up two large areas of overgrown shrubbery very efficiently. he also cut front and rear grass in an afternoon - quite a task when you realise my plot is largly grass and 430 foot in length. The Garden now looks neat and tidy and much larger, more open so the views from the house are now sweeping and a joy once more - the only point I would make is that his enthusiasm and sheer hard work tends to leave a few bits lying around but this is something I am able to sort myself - just a bit of final tidying and certainly if left would not detract from the hugely improved aesthetics all the hard work has delivered. Would I go back to G.M.F.? Definately - in fact I have two more "projects" lined up and have agreed on a 4 hour a week regular visit to keep all in order.

Arthur has completed decking my whole courtyard garden in Eastbourne and I am thrilled with the result. He turned a mess of a garden into a unified area that looks fantastic. I originally wanted some advice and Arthur's ideas were very good and the garden ended up exactly as I had hoped. My garden has no rear access so my house had to house the materials for a while but Arthur was meticulous in cleaning up every evening. The original quote was reasonable and kept to. I would recommend.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. Excellent job: good advice and discussion in advance of starting work to get a clear picture of what I wanted, as well as updates while I was travelling and busy with my own work; they kept to their timetable and brief, and even came up with a supplementary suggestion (resurfacing my drive) which has set the whole garden improvements off to perfection. Plus, they dealt with difficult set-backs - some damage to the fencing - with remarkable aplomb and helpfulness. Highly recommended!
