That is why I offer a safety checks in your home. If you book a boiler safety check I will also conduct a visual assessment of any other gas appliances. I also take on other jobs, I am happy to undertake plumbing work and will soon be offering electrical work including PAT testing. I am happy to take on handyman jobs such as building your flat pack furninture, fitting your intergrated appliances or hanging your tv wall mounts and installing your tv. Thanks Paul, here is how I see it from a customers perspective. I waited over two weeks for an estimate and had to chase. You said you were off sick and immediately sent me an estimate for £395 . I costed the parts and they were around £70 so you were charging £325 for labour. I reckoned it was a 2hr job and have since had work done and just under 2hrs at a total cost of £190. So in my simple head you were charging £160/hour for labour versus £60/hour . Just tell customers the truth if job too small
