George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

we did not go with them in the end as they were a bit more expensive than our chosen builder and money is tight on this job but we were very impressed - really professional
My main work is carpentry joinery, but also do the whole job, ie repair or redo the wood work, repair the plaster and redec. I have worked on national trust buildings, repairing to perfection and because I love gardening I do garden tidies and make overs as an extra side line.
Can't give 0 starts but would if I could. Gave a quote and then wanted to change the price halfway through. Requested 80% of payment after 1 day work Caused hundreds of £'s of damage to wardrobes he was to install Did not return on day 3 to finish the job Has not replied to request for refund or to remedy the job Avoid
Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

Do your due diligence on this company and Rob and his son, straight forward garage conversion and mezzanine floor, what a joke key dimensions wrong, workmanship standards not to building code, and will leave your house in an absolute mess, not forgetting wants money up front all the time, be very careful, "good plastering" shame the plasterboard was not to specifications, i have the photos to prove... taken another 6 months to rectify all issues and have buildings control to get to final sign off.

I’m a qualified carpenter, undertaking all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry work. I’m happy to take on bigger projects but also enjoy smaller jobs too.
Keen to do the work initially, but quotation was far too high for the job.
Has worked very hard, working all weekend to get job finished as soon as possible. Also knocked out a fireplace and replastered a wall. would use again
