There were difficulties in getting the managers to accept there was a lack of respect to existing surfaces, needless damage was caused. The aim appeared to be profit above client satisfaction, expressions of dissatisfaction were met with numerous excuses. Even when advice was provided not to pile up soil next to a trench a utility company had to work in, this was ignored, when asked to remove soil we were expected to pay for it, despite health and safety concerns, we moved it ourselves.

Alan did a superb job on painting the whole of my 4 bedroomed house from floor to ceiling and wallpaper on one bedroom wall. All at an extremely reasonable price too. This being my third and largest project to date. What Alan doesn't know about painting and decorating isn't worth knowing. Found him to be extremely helpful in advising about kitchens, garage door and leaks etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will certainly be using him again in the future.

Agreed to do the work and quoted a daily rate and start date, then before starting work advise that the job was too much for him and he would need to bring a friend. Arrived on the day and advised that his friends day rate was £40.00 more than we agreed. However we decided to go ahead and they completed the job (replacement of most radiators in the house). They did a good job and we paid them but they left without giving us a receipt, All subsequent contact from us went unanswered.
