Very nice chap. Came and did the work. Conscious about the people around him, as my father lives in a retirement home and he didn’t want to disturb the other residents. Very happy with the job he did. Would certainly recommend and use again. 5*

Alistair did a good job. He was polite and I felt happy having him in the house. We tweaked the initial design of the doors slightly, which has made them work better for me and the space available. Alistair cleaned up after the job was completed. He was kind enough to reduce cost slightly, as the job didn't take quite as long as he originally thought, his honesty was much appreciated.

Alistair supplied and fitted a brand new bathroom door today. His work ethic is very high and he did an excellent job with great attention to detail. He was very competitive pricewise and I would definitely use his skills again. A very nice man too. Thanks.

I have a gravity system and I have 2 bathrooms and like a new shower in each. Can I have a aqualisa quartz gravity fed shower in each one .or is there a better way to do it

Hi the main thing with gravity fed showers is you need to have at least 900mm from your showerhead to the underside of the cold water storage tank or it wont work properly. The other way is to install a booster pump which will increase the pressure to your showers.just one more thing if you are thinking about DIY do not pipe the showers off the main supply you need a supply from cold tank and a supply of your hot water cylinder hope this helps. Kevin Adams's question

As a furniture maker, I often see leads, for example, 3 metres of wardrobe for a budget of UNDER £1000. I don't buy these leads as I can't even buy the materials for that amount let alone measure, design, plan, order, make, spray, wrap, deliver and fit them! Yet I often (if not always) see these leads bought - so my question is how do tradesmen make them for that amount and why buy the lead if they can't?

As a joiner I do loads of built in wardrobes.if they want a 3 meter wardrobe building, for under a grand I can do that no problem it would be made of 22mm Mdf with a couple of shelves and hanging rails, sprung hinges, handles, 3 sheets of Mdf ,hinges, handles, a days work. Customer to paint wardrobe,I would do it all day for a grand.not everybody want rapt doors etc etc which would be more like 2 grand. It just depends what the customer wants and there budget.
