I am really happy with the standard of work carried out by Alistair to my property.I used this site as I was worried about having tradespeople in my property who I knew nothing about. This website is great as you can read other peoples comments and then make up your own mind. My family said that Alistair was polite friendly and cleans up after he has completed his work, which involved plumbing in a washing machine and removing I will be using Alistair again due to cost and standard of work carried out.

Hi Wendy, Wall has dried out to quickly hence the cracks you are seeing. What should have been done is to pva wall before plastering it I would pva the wall and skim it again .hope this helps.

Tradesman damage

What do I do if a tradesman has damaged my solid oak wood flooring, whilst laying, and subsequent attempts to repair have made matters worse, resulting in permanent damage - scratch marks from Stanley knife used to remove glue, and discolouration from spray used.

Hi first thing contact tradesman and give him the chance to rectify at his cost, if he refuses get another tradesman in and send bill the first guy for the cost plus some extra for all inconvenience post a review on this site to warn others regards Alistair. Ewen.
