Plumber

AA plumbing did exactly what they said they would do, very quick to contact, turned up when they said. Sadly our 7yr old was taken poorly in the morning, nothing serious, but a bit messy and I didn’t get chance to call to cancel. My fault, not theirs, based upon their response time etc they seemed very good. Apologies for any inconvenience

Plumber

Initially fine, turned up and did the job without any issues. However afterwards we noticed the seal on the toilet that we’d ask to be replaced was still leaking drain fumes. I contacted Tony again to ask if he could return to look at it and got radio silence. Assumed from this Tony was unwilling to re-visit the job to make right as I’d already paid him.

Mark Nader's question

I am writing a business proposal to take on a new lease. Part of this proposal is to install a new disabled toilet. The issue I have is the only available space is on the other side of the property on the ground floor from the current toilets. The toilet would be installed inline with the current one but 10 meters away. From briefly searching online this would be too long? Are there any alternatives? The toilet cannot be moved somewhere else. The ground floor is an old timber joists set up. I just want to know if this is possible or I have to rethink my plans.

Hi mark You could install a Saniflow system basically a pump behind your toilet which still needs a pipe to a drain etc but you can pump either horizontally or vertically you would have to check manufacturers instructions on distance as they all different depending on price and what you have going in to pump basin shower and toilet or just toilet the downside to a pump system is they are noisy when in use if not properly installed etc and boxed in also they can block up if not serviced annually upside is they do work well and save money and time in waste pipework as you only need to pipe 1 outlet pipe inch quarter usually to nearest drain and all your sanitary basin shower biday etc to pump behind toilet the pump crushes all waste this is why only small pipe needed only use if have to hope this helps google Saniflow or maccerator for more info thanks tony
