Ray and his team did an extensive refurbishment for me in Hackney . I didn’t know him before and took three quotes from other builders as is recommended . His pricing is competitive and he came up with a comprehensive quote . Plus he is an affable chap and seemed trustworthy. So we went ahead . The property refurbished is approx 130 sq m so it was a big job . Initial stages were stripping the property out and removing a huge amount of rubble . When builders are in your house it’s difficult to see
House Extension
ARK build has just finished a major building project for us. We had an extension built on the back of our one bedroom flat and major changes made (moved the bathroom, knocked down existing walls, built new ones etc). I am really happy with Ray and his team. They came in on time and on budget. Ray was good at communicating throughout the job, his team worked hard and were reliable and he was happy to follow specific instructions, and come up with ideas for solutions. A genuinuely nice bloke too.

The Project is not finnished, but so far all goes well but i like to see the work finnished before an overall rate given.

Ray did a stirling job- would thoroughly recommend him and the team. This was a major refurb involving a complete strip out of a 2300 sqare feet building, major structural work including opening up a sizeable loft space, underpinnnig a basement and tanking and a major new extension coupled with installing new services to creat 3 luxury flats.

House Extension
I would highly recommend Uplands contract to any one considering a domestic build or exstension. The workmanship was superb and the contractor was efiicient communicative and honest. As I and my family were living on site I found that they were sensitive to our needs and completed works as well as some extra's for a reasonable price. As a result many of my neighbours have approached me for their number.
