I’m James, Director of Coulman Property Development and chief Joiner. I have been working in the trade for 15+ years, and have significant experience in Property Renovation and Development, focusing mainly on structural alterations.
We have worked on small domestic projects (beam in, wall down stuff) all the way up to start from scratch bespoke new builds and most things in between.
Our standards are exceptional, we won’t leave it unless it is right. We can advise on planning permission requirements, as well as the latest building regulations standards, and are more than happy to share this knowledge and experience with our valued customers.

James was very reassuring in his initial assessment of the required work and then delivered the agreed schedule of work on time and to standard without any delays or issues. Will definitely use again and would recommend to others.
Groundwork / Foundations
We needed all the joists changed in our living room and new chipboard put down and this was the first time we had to do such an extensive job and hire a builder so I was quite nervous of how the job will turn out. However James was always professional, efficient and very neat. He explained everything from beginning to end. I highly recommend him.

Fireplace
James was very professional from start to finish. Email communications about the job from initial quote through to practical and logistical planning were clear and concise. During the fireplace build James was friendly and mindful with helpful advice and discussion throughout. Organised, tidy and high quality of work. Would recommend again!
