Gardener / Landscape gardeners

Dale has done a quality job of our natural stone paving....both the preparation and finishing were high quality. Dale's approach to the work is open, honest and flexible (we changed a couple of things late on...and this was no problem). Already asked Dale to quote for other works....we can't recommend dale highly enough!!

Bricklayer

This building firm is the best i have used in a few years. He was reasonably priced, polite - Never bothered me, and did an excellent job. Tidied up, did not ask for money up front and work was of the highest order. Can't really ask for more. I have also used him again and got the same good service. Really highly recommended - These guys are professional builders

Bricklayer

Garden wall and front steps - Dale did a cracking job and we're really happy with the work done! We found him to be knowledgable, good value, and trustworthy. Work was completed in the timescale agreed and he cleared up everything afterwards. Would have no hesitation to recommend BK Services. Dale did exactly what we asked of him at a good price... Thanks for our lovely new steps and wall!

Sue Richardson Capel's question

I had a leak indoors, rain water runs down the lee of two adjoining walls from the soffit level and into the small roof over my french doors. I had the leak fixed, and the soffit was sealed by caulking. My builder recommends replacing the fascia, but I would like more information. Can anyone tell me why rain water runs through the soffit? Is it better to replace both the fascia and the soffits? Thanks.

Hi, sounds to me that the felt and tiles are at fault, when you had your fascists replaced did they put any eaves guard under the tiles and felt which would simply guide the water into the gutter ? Thanks Russ

Just ordered a new kitchen to fit myself but ive never routed a laminate worktop before. I am going to buy the jig to do it properly, my question is how easy is it to do or am i better off paying someone to do this for me ive watched vids on youtube but am worried im going to mess up £800 quids worth of work top... is it worth getting some old laminate and practicing? Cheers Jas

Hi , not a easy job at all ! If you have ago at this yourself and you mess it up you will not be happy , by the time you have bought a good quality jig and correct router bit you would probably be better off paying someone to do it ! Ps even a good quality router bit will only make about 3 cutts ! Your choice mate but I know which route I would choose , cheers Russ
