Although we didn't use Tom for the job, that was purely because another tradesmen got to us 30 seconds before hand! Called and text to arrange a quote the same day... fantastic communication - much better than previous experiences with trades people! thanks tom

Painter and decorator

Rob recently painted my dining room & bedroom, did a first class job, was extremely polite & reliable & even cleaned up after himself. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a painter/decorator!

What in your opinion is good flooring for small - a medium bathroom on the first floor?

ll depends on your budget. Tiles are good but an expensive option. There are some good quality vinyl out there now adays which if sealed around the perimeter will offer good protection. I wouldn't advise laminate flooring if moisture gets into this it will expand and cause you problems.

Is it worth having tiling/floor covering under the bath to give extra water proofing?
  • Thomas Lyon's Answer

No, If you have a leak under the bath the water will find its way out somewhere if not through the floor then it will find its way into the walls. The bath panel should be sealed so no water should get under it.
