Painter and decorator
Greg, the owner of Bentley, came to assess the job. We agreed on a price and that he would carry out other works in the apartment in addition to what I had advertised. He guaranteed me that work would start on 2nd September, I had stipulated that it was most important that he stuck to his start date. He then never replied to any of my correspondence and caused me to lose face because I had committed to works starting based on his promise. GREG'S COMPANY IS NO BENTLEY, IT'S MORE LIKE A LADA THAT WON'T START.

You have forgotten to ad that you "don't want to pay" VAT ;) DON'T WANT TO PAY DEPOSIT, LOOKING TO HAVE THINGS DONE FOR FREE AND DROPPING THE QUOTE EVEN MORE SO WE RUN AROUND FOR A BOWL OF RICE! HENCE WE PREFER TO WORK FOR CLIENTS WHO WANT TO DO PROPER BUSINESS. WE WISH YOU GOOD LUCK IN FINDING NAIVE CONTRACTORS WHILE YOU'RE ON HOLIDAY ALL CLIENTS CONSIDERING A GOOD CONTRACTOR ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO CONTACT US!

I don't make a habit out of writing bad reviews but in your case you have obliged me to make an exception. You're misleading your customers with some of the above comments. You agreed a deal with me on Thursday 26th August 2021. We agreed that I would put the points that we had discussed in writing so that there was no misunderstanding later as to what we had agreed over the phone. I did. You then never replied to my correspondence. Essentially you breached verbal contract. Your company is not to be trusted

Just to clarify, we have been in touch ASAP however Mr Steven mentioned that he had someone else that he awarded the works to. And this person has not showed up. We have contacted rated people customer service regarding the mix up as it looks confusing, to say the least, but they have never even responded to us!

Greg and his crew are attentive and available, and were always realistic about costs, timelines, and the nature of the job. In the last day I really appreciate the extra effort in staying late to finish things up, despite leaving a few details that were finished a couple of days later. Overall I would recommend for tiling and renovations, but speak with them and get them to see the place properly and with details beforehand (we were limited because of the lockdown).

Greg responded to my quote request within half an hour of it goes live. I needed 2 basic handyman jobs completed at my property and neither seemed to challenge Greg when I explained them to him. Within 24 hours Greg had been to the property, quoted and was ready to do the work within 48 hours. On viewing the work, the result looks neat and tidy and completed to a good standard. Thank you Greg!

Sorry to say that I would not Rate Bentley Clean for any work. We arranged a meeting time to discuss works and Owner was running late, reorganised for following day and Owner failed to show, no reply to my messages. Not a great start

I cannot speak highly enough of the great job that Greg did. He co-ordinated the purchasing of the fence and its delivery in a very short period. He put up the fence and pressure-hosed the garden doing a clean and tidy job - leaving the place looking really good. This was not easy as he had to come and go through the house. I would definitely get him back to do more jobs. Good value for money. Reliable,

Absolutely disgraceful, two days before the job he stopped responding, and he didn't even bother messaging back. i was left embrassed and had to find replacement which cost me a fortune and thank got the second guy who contacted me on rated people came into take the work and took on the work and gained all the parts and has started who was a life saver.

The rating is incorrect, never agreed to your under-cutting budget. As discussed at the site, the amount of work required labor, not to even count materials, exceeded£10K, you were trying to find someone who would do it for£2.5K? I said, unless you are willing to discuss a fair budget, we have nothing to discuss further. We have all the records/photos to prove our position. What's disgraceful, is that people, like yourself, want to exploit others, still, exist. We are proud to be competitive, not stupid
