I was very impressed by David from Better Finish when he came to inspect the repointing of the 4 valley gutters on my roof. He clearly knew what was needed to do a "proper" job and quoted accordingly. I accepted his quotation in early March and we agreed that, as the job was weather dependent, he would advise a start date. After a couple of hiccups, he started the work on 12 May and finished on Friday 14 May, interrupted by some rain. He worked diligently when the weather allowed and I am very satisfied

Can't recommend David highly enough. We have previously had difficulty with other roofers either not turning up or giving exorbitant quotes. David came, gave a very reasonable quote, and even did the job there and then. Very personable. There were a couple of other issues, including a cracked tile, that he noticed and he replaced the cracked tile and sealed some gaps. Didn't charge us any extra than what was originally quoted. Wish we'd contacted David first, would have saved us a lot of mither and delay.

Complete let down. Took on the job but never came to do it. Was told he had ordered and was waiting for materials. They never came so Apparently ordered materials for next day delivery but almost another week later, still not arrived. So over 2 weeks later, now been told he can’t do it. Back to posting the job again! How are people like this allowed on rated people?

David repointed the chimney and replaced ridgetiles to a high standard. Friendly, approachable and tidied up afterwards. Price very reasonable. Can't recommend David highly enough. Cheers
