Scott rang us almost immediately after we had made the request and Des came round later that day to give us a quote. He gave us good advice about the best way to achieve what we wanted to do. Des did the work in the following few days. We were very happy with his work. The price for the job was very competitive.

Bruntwood electrical answered questions about Electrician in Cheadle

's question
Tue 1 Aug 2017 8:14am

What qualifications do I need to become a domestic electrician and is there a certain course I must begin with, I. E. Level 2 and then level 3 and so on

  • Scott Lennon's Answer
    Wed 2 Aug 2017 12:45pm

Hi mate I'd advise doing the level 2 and 3 electrical installation diploma , Followed by 17th edition regulations and test and inspection . However these qualifications mean nothing unless you have at least 2 or 3 years site experience

's question
Tue 2 May 2017 10:2am

I have a 6000w electric instantaneous hot water system. I think the amps are 20 to 25 amps. What size cable do I need, is 4mm enough

  • Scott Lennon's Answer
    Mon 29 May 2017 21:46pm

You have to take the cable run into consideration too , however I would run a 6mm in and you should be fine , unless it's an industrial unit and it's over say 50 metres from the consumer unit
