Electrician

Chris came round to quote on the same day. I got a few quotes and he was the best value. He was very safety conscious, driving me down to the electrical wholesaler for me to change the spotlights I'd bought for fire rated ones. Did a great job, doing some logical changes to wiring but within the agreed price, good finish with filler and tidied up. Had three new spotlights in the hallway and changed the pull cord in the bathroom to a dimmer.

Electrician

I am very pleased with the work that Chris has done for me and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is 100% reliable and competent and his prices are very reasonable. The work he has done on my flat has been completed to a very high standard and he left the place spotless afterwards. If only all the tradesmen I've encountered since I moved in were this good!

Electrician

Chris came on time, did the work & when the original fault returned the same day came around early the next morning. Due to slight communication issues I expected 2 strips of spotlights to be replaced but only the faulty strip was changed (from transformer step-down voltage to mains). Suggest ensuring both parties are crystal clear on the work to be done. That said Chris was friendly, very helpful & completed the work & re-work the next day without question. He also completed extra work & gave good advice

Very efficient and excellent value. Quote was reflective of the work carried out and not just based on what could be extracted from the customer like many electricians

chrispol answered questions about Carpenter / Joiner

Ed Rr's question
Mon 10 Jun 2019 16:6pm

Is is acceptable practice and compliant with building regs to fit furniture permanently in front of (which would essentially block use of) a socket outlet that will never be used, rather than joining the cables and blanking? Thank you.

matt Carty's question

I've had a tile replaced in my kitchen floor, the grout is the wrong colour and my underfloor electric heating has been damaged (now not working!!) - please can you advise

It is possible to find and fix the damaged under floor heating cable, (tiles required to lift) but I would suggest everything should be removed then done properly. chrispol.co.uk
