Window fitter / Conservatory installer

Am over the moon with the work carried out by Crown Roof Building. Jake was superb! Polite, friendly & honest. He provided us with a number of options and an associated price for each. I never felt pressured as hewas sensitive to our specific requirements. Jake took care of ordering all required materials & timetabled the repair around our busy schedule. The job was carried out to a high standard & the area was left clean & tidy. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with Crown Roof Building and would use again.

Jake and Mike were responsive, quick M's reliable. It was a shame that the first repair was not satisfactory due to an unexpected finding of an uneven underlying concrete layer and the additional cost of 35%. Despite this, the final result appears completely satisfactory. There was some marking of internal decorations during access.

I am extremely pleased with tradesperson from star to finish. He communicates extremely well and was processional at all times. He maintain contact when giving information about the job and also visited home to view the work before giving a price. The work done is excellent I had no problems and he did clean when he had completed work. Also he did turn up on time and complete work when he said he would. Very reliable and accommodating. Cost was good and excellent job I must say.

Made two appointments and didn't turn up for work. When we called he said he was on the way. There is no need to mislead us. Very disappointed. I will never use your website again. Many thanks.

How are tradesmen vetted by Rated People? What comeback do clients have if the tradesman turns out to be untrustworthy?

Hi You need paper work to join i.e certificates etc If you get a bad job you have trading standards to help plus you can get the company evicted from the site

The side extension roofs are also pitched and covered with asbestos fibre cement artificial slates. Surveyor's comment was that extension roof coverings appear in acceptable condition for their age but coverings are weathered and a little uneven in places. Should we consider having the asbestos tiles overlaid with a covering or removed?

Hi Simon Any sort of cover will only last a short will as the is no real primer for that sort of thing but depends on what sort of guarantee you want. You don't want the covering to peel of in the heat
