Said he would come back to skim again if removed radiators and sockets have done and he’s not come back. I shouldn’t have paid him but I did, I was busy on my own with toddler + working. I looked properly & was devastated. The work is poor overall, explained the reasons why he didn’t do things. To be honest I think he was too busy maybe and didn’t care. Very disappointed. We chose this guy as we thought he would do a good job and wasn’t the cheapest quote we had. Would not recommend.

  This is so un fair I was even given a chance to fix something that’s not even bad I had to use a stop bead on angles as you couldn’t get a corner bead on . So obviously the inside needed to be filled or even just paint as it’s a one sided bead I did explain and say. I call Monday to arrange a day to come and this is what i get on Monday ! All wires were left live as couldn’t have electricity off as she works from home but I had to skim round all live wires which her son is an electrician apparently!!thanks

  You had your chance to resolve, I left this review at 6.30 pm. You left my house at 3pm every day. You did not advise to have all light fittings removed in advance you had power off when you plastered around this… probably the only neat bit, wiring was not left live the sockets and lights where still fitted. would suggest you advise your customers of this in future however I would say your overall work is still poor I am afraid and as I say happy to provide pictures to anyone who would like them.

  I’ll give you a call Monday to arrange a day and I’ll give you a total re skim . If you can remove radiators and sockets and make sure they are taped up safe I can remove skirting once radiator is removed! I’m sorry you’re upset and I defiantly wouldn’t take the piss out of you . ( if you can get your son to remove sockets and tape them up and the live wires on wall would be great!! Here the message I sent Friday and the customer left comment Monday I didn’t even get a chance to go look

  Terrible job. Patches of the ceiling were done poorly, some parts were completely missed and the skim was to a poor standard. I have repeatedly tried contacting D Stevens since, but have had no reply.

  Hi I’m not sure what happened I skimmed your ceiling and you left me 5 stars now 1 year later u decided to leave 1 I’m very disappointed this should not be aloud and u even ask me for £800 I think this is a con if I’m honest but all my work speaks for itself sorry you feel like this but I done a good job god bless

  I didn’t see the original work and trusted my tenant who was happy with the work. When I eventually saw it I was shocked at the poor quality. I asked another plasterer to give me his view and he said it needed to be redone. I contacted you repeatedly by email and this app but you did not respond. If I could post photos here I could show you the gaps where there’s no plaster at all and the poor quality of the skim.
