Dan is really good at putting up blinds — no problems and no complaints, he says. Except for two of mine, which fell down after a few weeks. He put the first one back for free then, when the second one failed, accused me of mistreating it and would only come and fix it if I paid £140. Someone else did it for me and found that two of the three screws he’d used were too small and only ordinary rawlplugs, even though the blind was underneath a metal window soffit and needed expanding ones. No wonder they fell.
