Complete Bathroom Refurbishment
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! After initial meeting saying he will squeeze me in, I was left with NO bathroom and £5K out of pocket! I agreed to a £10,400 bathroom, escalated quickly to £13,400 after ripping my old bathroom. 4 boarded walls, a few pipes and 1 electric cable coming out the ceiling, this was apparently the first fix done! He walked off after I only paid £1.5K of the £2.5K he asked for and sent a text to say he would not be back! An assessment of work was carried out by trades and evidence available.

I can’t believe the audacity to leave a review after the issues we had dealing with you. We had agreed a total price for the quality of bathroom you wanted which you agreed to pay. We have staged payments the same do we have with any other bathroom job we do, it came to the stage payment which you wouldn’t pay and when we sat down and spoke about it you opened up about the amount debt you are in and couldn’t afford to go ahead with the full job. I have the evidence to back this up all recorded on my phone.

At this point you paid me 1.5k of the 2.5k owed and I decided to walk away from the job as I am in no position to install a full bathroom and pay all the guys for you to turn round and tell me at the end you aren’t paying. Again I have all the evidence to this on a voice note on my phone. You wanted a bathroom you couldn’t afford and when you couldn’t make the payments tried to turn it around on me. Telling me “you were the most expensive quote. I had quotes for x” as if it’s my fault you decided to go for

What I could not afford was to pay £6k for you to rip out my bathroom and leave me with nothing other than stated above. However, investigations into Companies House for Vitality Plumbing & Heating, Vitality Property Limited and Declan Macaloney and declared company addresses and other information claimed by you have proved very interesting for any member of the public wishing to investigate your claims before proceeding with any works. I'll leave it to the individual to decide the validity for themselves.
