Job done quickly and neatly. Checked with me on exactly what I wanted and actually suggested a better placing of the socket and also fixed my thermostat to the wall properly for me that was not part of the job . Very happy - thank you

DJ Pritchard Electrical answered questions about Electrician in Wrexham
I've recently discovered fairly loud Fizzing/Buzzing noise coming from the consumer unit ONLY when the electric shower is on. The shower is about 16 years old, 7.5 or 8.5 kW power rating. Consumer box is in hallway, inside a cabinet, so couldn't hear noise with cabinet doors closed. No other noises or issues with electrics in house, no burning smell or marks around consumer unit, no melted bits. Is this noise normal?

This could be a loose connection within the consumer unit which can lead to "arching".
This can lead to a fire. Get an electrician to investigate immediately.
We have had a surveyor report done on our house and multiple issues are found; the surveyor report has not specified in most of the areas which specific type of person would be appropriate to give us a quote for. In an attempt to save money, the less people involved the better. Issues identified are:
Fireplaces, chimney breasts and flues
Rainwater pipes and gutters
Walls and Partitions
How many types of specialist are needed to deal with these areas? Can one person possibly deal with more than one of these issues? Please advise.

There are companies that specialise in house renovations. They will have an all-round team that will be able to assist.
