After enquiring for an electrician we had a very quick response and in just over 1hour the job was finished and left clean and tidy. A very pleasant workman and a very reasonable charge for the work completed. Would definitely use Giuseppe again have also recommended him to friends.

He came on time and was eager to resolve the problem with the Spotlights. He came well prepared with replacement ones and got on with the job in a professional and efficient way. I rate him as being very good at his trade. His price was fair as it included all the replacement spotlights also. I would use him again.

I have 2 fluorescent strip lights installed in my 1975 kitchen extension. I would like these to be removed and replaced with a single spotlight fitting which I have already purchased. I am looking for a quote rather an estimate to stay 'on budget' if possible. Thank you.

What is the best way to deal with repeatedly rusting hinges on metal door frames? removing door frame is a lot of work and cost, but cannot replace hinges without replacing metal door for frame.

I've had several single sockets replaced with doubles and in order to do this the electrician has left huge cracks, gaps and holes around the new sockets. He has said that this damage is inevitable in this kind of job. Is it reasonable for this work to cause so much damage? No warning was given before the work. I've had sockets replaced before and it was fine. And I can't find anything online that tells you to expect this with what I thought was a simple job.

Hi I am trying to wire up a second consumer unit in my loft to power 7 wall sockets on a ring plus 1 lighting ring. But I was just wondering what size cable to use to supply one unit downstairs to the new unit upstairs? Cheers

It's a Hygena APP2180 cooker extractor hood. I've only ust moved in and realised the hood lights didn't come on. Took out the old one and bought the same bulb. When I put a bulb (it needs 2) it just blew and didn't work

Our Servis electric oven does not work, hobs and grill ok, but not the main oven. Which trade do I need please? Not sure if electrician is the correct one, would have thought appliance technician or something, but couldn't find it. thanks for any help

hello Arthur as an experience I can advise you that it is not worth to contact an engineer to repair the oven because it will cost you much more in the end it is worth to buy it again with a new installation the price is much cheaper
