I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They came round and did a full appraisal of the work, advising what needed doing, what was optional and importantly want was unnecessary. Then followed up with a full and clear quote. I'm no expert but the work seems to be really high quality and the finish is great. They even left the outside of my property cleaner and tidier than before they started. Above all from start to finish, they were a complete joy to deal with. They even threw in some singing.

Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.

Alan was very flexible with the appointment. I had to reschedule a couple of times and he was very understanding about it. Alan arrived right on time and was very pleasant and courteous. He inspected our roof thoroughly and took pictures to show what the problem was ( ended up being on our neighbour's roof). No work was needed at that time but I will definitely contact him should any other problems arise as we really appreciated his honest and professional advice. Would definitely recommend!!
Flat Roof - Installation / Repair
Both Alans (father and son) did a great job on our flat roof. They replaced the old felt with rubber (EDPM), plus some repointing. They were friendly, punctual and cleared the site when finished. We weren't able to be at the property every day, but they kept us updated with photos and answered all our questions in full. The finish on the work was excellent, in fact it is the first time my husband hasn't found a single fault or query with a builders work.
Flat Roof - Installation / Repair
Quick and comprehensive quote, arrived on time and finished on time. Friendly to deal with and a solid looking job at the end. Even dealt with my less than hospitable neighbours in a professional manner.
Slate & Tiled Roof
AF Roofing is a small family business which from my experience dealt with everything just how you would like. Alan jnr contacted very quickly after my listing and a site visit was organised quickly. Alan Snr quickly identified what we needed doing and a quote was also received quickly and reasonably priced. They were able to get the job scheduled quickly to suit and arrived early to get things sorted, completed the job with minimum fuss and left the site tidy and clear. Would recommend...thanks guys.
