I have a ground floor flat built in 1900. I have carpets now, which I like to be removed and replaced with laminate. The central heating works fine and the flat warms up very quickly, however, even at the height of summer floors radiate very cold air upwards. I believe the foundation is a mixture of concrete and timber. How could I best provide extra insulation to stop this coldness coming through? I don't have damp.
