Within 15 minutes of posting my job advert, Peter was very prompt in making contact with me. We agreed the fee and he completed the job within two hours. I am very pleased with the high quality workmanship and would definitely use Peter again for any future jobs. Thanks Peter.

Plumber

Thanks for sorting out my broken bath panel at such short notice. Replacement was fitted to a much higher standard and looked better than the original. Although this was a relatively minor fix I was really pleased with our mostly by text conversation about what was needed. This might seem a little impersonal but was out of necessity. I will look forward to putting more work in your direction.

Handyman

I needed to hang a heavy bag for boxing training in my home. I needed someone that could do a really good job and provide advice due to the weight of the bag. Peter was punctual, very nice and did a fantastic job that completely surpassed my expectations. highly recommended.

Carpenter / Joiner

What can I say other than 5/5 for Peter. Every aspect from his workmanship to his customer service. Thoroughly outstanding as far as quality craftsmanship and reliability is concerned. Peter's ethical approach when giving me advice during his consultation clearly stood out for me. So far, Peter hasn't got round to doing my door frames only because his extended skills has led to other work which prepares the original work to be completed. Peter went above and beyond the call of duty and I've booked him again

Carpenter / Joiner

Peter is a very skilled carpenter, his work is very professional. He is very precise and likes a well finished work. He is tidy and cleans up when done. He listens to the customers requests and finds a way to make them happy. I am very satisfied with the wardrobe he built in my room and I will be calling him again to rebuild my shed.

Peter was Prompt with his quote, Fair with the price and his workmanship was genuinely exceptional! A polite and friendly guy I really can’t recommend him enough. I have already got him doing other, more taxing works around my home which are putting his seemingly endless set of skills to work. He has also quoted to fit my parents kitchen - which they have accepted and hope to get him to fit it for Christmas.

If i dont take the job , how I get refund?

  • Peter Williams's Answer

I echo James Youngs answer. We are only buying the opportunity to quote! You need to be able to sell yourself, instil in the prospective customer confidence that you can do a good job, and of course quote a fair price to do the job. You will sometimes be quoting along side two other tradesmen, or sometimes against just one. Though the best scenario is to be first to buy, get round to see the job promptly, and convince your customer you are the guy for the job there n then. If they are confident that you are a capable, polite professional, they will often not seek another quote. If you look after these (in fact any) customers, they will continue to use you for all their future work and your small initial outlay for the job will be replayed many times over. But ultimately, we accept that we won’t win them all.....and that there is No refund unless after all your attempts to be able to quote, have been met with a dead end. Personally, my quote/success rate is currently around the 6-7 out of ten, and if you are a personable chap and a good tradesman, I see no reason your stats won’t be at least as good.
