Gas Boiler - Installation
We had several quotes to fit a new boiler and in a different location from the current boiler. Ian came and did a detailed survey prior to sending his quote. From the outset Ian gave us confidence in his abilities to complete the work. After excepting his quote and arranging a date for the works to be carried out. Ian arrived promptly at the time he had arranged with us each day and his work ethic was excellent. We are delighted with the new boiler and Ian’s work and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Excellent service. Professional, polite, friendly and approachable. All left clean and tidy afterwards. Handover with explanation of how everything works. All went swimmingly and would highly recommend to anyone. Paperwork and records followed commissioning with a ten year warranty.

We had numerous problems with this job. I got the boiler company out when the boiler stopped working and was told the warranty would not be honoured until various faults with the installation were fixed (wrong diameter for condensation pipe, flue pipe had exposed white plastic and it appeared that the system had not been properly flushed. Ian promised to call me back and didn't. He didn't reply to messages about fixing the problems. His phone then went straight to voicemail. No longer a plumber apparently.

Amazing what people say when when communication breaks down. Got parking tickets outside this house also and homeowner lied we wear even there. I’d read the other 40 odd 5 star reviews there’s always one I’m afraid

Will provide screenshots to rated people and put them in touch with the Ideal engineer who spoke with Ian pointing out faults in the work. Not heard from Ian when I messaged on WhatsApp Re faults and left a voicemail

In fairness I should clarify that none of the faults were dangerous in any way and were easy to fix via another plumber. Apart from the issues above all other work was competently done.
