i am a self employed business man i am located in girvan south Ayrshire but i am willing to travel for work. my business has been up and running for 5 years i am very trusted known around dumfries and Galloway. I have experience in outside and inside home maintenance for a total of 7 years. Jobs that I undertake is All types of rough casting including full new rough cast of property’s , roofing such as reroofs fixing slates etc. Painting external such as facias walls doors. Also clean and repair guttering.

Quick response. James came to house and provided detailed quote in writing that evening showing various options and prices for tasks. Workers patched rotten wooden soffits and fascia boards. Also replaced lead valley on roof - probable cause of water leak into house. James also cleaned by hand a major portion of roof of moss. All work done quickly and on time and all debris cleaned up and taken away. A talkative character who proved he could deliver what he promised. Looking to use him again.

Painter and decorator

Did not clean surfaces adequately as promised and paid for before painting. As a result paint has stripped off window sills and quoins after a year. Did not come back to clean up monoblok as promised. Its covered in paint. Tried to call to discuss both issues and has not picked up or returned calls.

Customer was very abusive didn't want to pay men for there time House was painted to perfection with the best of paint colour was also agreed on and they changed there mind left me with materials that I had to pay for. Iv worked in the area and the house is in 5 star have not tried to get into contact has not left any messages on WhatsApp Very disrespectful towards other people. There's been no phone calls or messages I can prove with recent call logs

Also I have the messages here on my phone that say Greg told us to leave the monoblock because there was tiny splashes and he was OK with that because he was using his own power washer to wash away the moss I have texts to prove this so please don't lie and ruin a working man's profile thanks

The boys came to do the work as soon as possible weather permitting and James kept in touch in the interim . James stuck to the agreed price and was keen to do the work to my satisfaction. A pleasure to do business with this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Re-felt & re-lead garage roof James & Mark completed our roof on 12 June. It leaked immediately as railing posts had not been sealed but they fixed this in a couple of days. 9 July the lead leaked badly into garage and worryingly on fuse box. The lead had been stuck on using sealant, not cut into the wall. It was agreed that the lead would be fixed. It is now 9 Aug and the job has not been done despite broken promises when no-one showed up or called and still no plan to fix. I can’t recommend them.

The job was not completed as specified, i was advised that the trades person would rendered the chimney once pointing had been redone, however then i was advised that due to the person that assists was off it would be smooth render. I was then told their was many other jobs being required urgently some of which is correct however after an few other quotes we have been advised the work carried out was minimal and not up to a good standard.
