Builder

Karl and his team did an amazing job at our house. From the initial visit to the completion of the job Karl was polite, helpful and without a doubt a professional. He and his team worked hard to ensure the job was done quickly and to a high standard, even the building inspector admitted that no fault could be found in their workmanship. We would highly recommend KG Building services to others indeed!

Builder

Karl and his team were absolutely brilliant on our extension and internal building works. They are polite, quiet, tidy and thorough completing a snagging list to a high standard at the end and working to a stage payment schedule based on our satisfaction of the work completed. Nothing was too much trouble and they finished the job bang on schedule. Reliable, trustworthy and punctual, I would highly recommend their work.

Floor fitters

Karl was very prompt, and flexible on arranging the quotation and also fitting the job (which in building terms was quite small) into his schedule. He also kept me informed of timescales & when ordering of materials was complete which was very reassuring. He worked very hard whilst on site and was very clean and tidy. He took all the small amount of excess away and there was no debris left. I would have no hesitation on recommending his screeding.

Thanks for your suggestion, do you mean add some more rads in the garage or another one in the bedroom. The cold is coming through the garage ceiling and up into the bedroom floor. Thanks

fit 50mm celotex in between joists in garage ceiling and 25mm celotex over whole ceiling in garage and tape up with insulation tape along joints this will create thermal barrier do not use polystyrene this is a fire hazard and fumes are extremely dangerous

I want to improve the access to my loft so it's easier to use on a daily basis. Main things I want done are to widen the hatch, get a new drop down ladder (something that's almost like stairs to walk up and easy to pull down and put back), put electricity in and put more flooring in (the main area has flooring, but not all the way to the edges). Do I need several trades in? Who should I ask to do the hatch, stairs and flooring?

you can buy loft hatch with ladders built in from any good diy chain store b&q wickes jewson etc if not confident a good general builder can fit these for you have done many myself
