Plumber

Very pleased with quality of service he was polite and friendly. What I particularly liked he showed us a picture on his phone of the problem we had with the water tank in the loft. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact arranging for him to come and do another job for us. So that is a recommendation in itself Carole SA6

Hi, Remove any existing tiles and scrape off any loose adhesive to get the surface as smooth as possible. You may need a hammer and good scraper to do this. If the old walls are plasterboard, it's easier just to pull it off and reboard.

Hot water is coming out of the overflow into the garden when the central heating or water eating is on. What is the problem and how do l stop it please

Hi, it sounds like you have a blockage somewhere in your central heating system and the water is rising up the vent pipe and being discharged into the small expansion tank in the attic, then down the overflow pipe. You may need a new pump, some pipework cut out and replaced, followed by a good system clean and powerflush.
