I cover a wide range of services and complete them to a very high standard. I work mostly on my own and have very little overheads as I am a very small company meaning my prices are relatively low compared to your "bigger" companies with more overheads.
I have good relationships with suppliers meaning I can usually get you the same product, cheaper. Yes, I pass on the discount to the customer! Which is probably one of the bigger reasons why I am usually a cheaper option.
Yes, being on my own (most of the time, depends on the size of the job) can mean jobs take slightly longer I have to admit however, I promise you will get the same standard of job, if not better for less cost to you.
I am very confident at what I do. It is all I have ever done since leaving school and I do take great pride in the work I do, if I am not 100% confident that I can give you a great result, I simply won't do it and will recommend someone who can for example, cutting a stone worktop. Something I do not have the equipment to do. Doing a good job is important to me because if I don't, you'll give me a bad review and in turn, lose potential work. That is something a very small, local tradesman like myself simply can't afford.
So hopefully you'll consider me for the work you intend to be done and I will do my very best to make sure you are happy with the end result!

Had Luke round to do my job, well pleased with fence and gate, had him back a few more times to do other bits and bobs around the garden, he's a lovely friendly bloke and can't do enough to help, cleaned up after and gave advice on saving money for job I needed doing, will definitely have more jobs for him in future
Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
Very professional. Does a great job, turns up on time and removes all waste too. Luke has done various property maintenance, fencing and gardening jobs for me. Excellent will use again and have recommended to my friends.
Laminate Flooring
Luke was punctual for the quote and when he came to do the job. Did a great job and cleaned up after. Would certainly use him again and reccomend him to anyone.

Excellent job done- overcome quite a few obstacles along the way but nothing was too much trouble for luke. Very polite and friendly and very professional- I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

although a good job was done I discovered several days after he'd been paid that he had dumped all my rubble over the fence down the side of my neighbpurs garage - he promised he would clear it up but has never shown up and now hes ignoring all my calls

The "Rubbish" had nothing to do with the job, was next door neighbors and a previous builders. If I was notified of this beforehand I would have priced in for a skip. I did the job very cheap and to expect me to pay for a skip at £180 at the drop of a hat for something which had nothing to do with the job I felt was a little too unreasonable from the customer. For instance in the rubbish was a washing line pole, parts off a washing machine ect.. sorry that the job ended on a bad note.
