Carl and Ian did an excellent job laying a new patio of sandstone. They kept me informed of any delays and finished the job in good time. I would highly recommend their professional services.

Gardener / Landscape gardeners

Carl did everything he said he would do and I was impressed with the quality of his work. There was a slight complication due to the clay underlying the lawn which necessitated using additional soil at extra cost, but it was a sound idea which rounded off the job nicely. Overall I’m happy with the result and would unhesitatingly use Carl again.

M & C were very prompt to get in touch to arrange a visit for a quote. They were great at answering any questions and sorting out arrangements for commencement of work. They were reliable, punctual, hard working and offered alternative suggestions to improve the finished design. Would happily recommend and use again.

Gardener / Landscape gardeners

Carl and Ian did a great job, they paved around our large lawn area with Indian stone slabs, they worked really hard, both take pride in their work which was nice to see, both give good advice to help you maintain your garden, I would certainly recommend M & C Landscaping, Carl will be coming back to do other work in our garden at some point, its a relief to finally find someone we can trust..

Hi when grass seeding, it will take about 8 weeks about to start to see any results. the rain will do it good but the weather is cold at the moment. It will grow slow but round about 8 weeks. Regards Carl.

Our garden always floods in the heavy rain. It appears to sit lower than the neighbours slightly so probably part of the problem. What can we do if anything? The house is only rented so we don't want to spend alot

Hi there, you probably need to do a drainage for the water. the best would be taking all the turf up, look at the ground. if its Clay like ground you will need to take most of it out about 200 mm and dig 500mm deep holes scattered around, fill them with gravel, then 50mm of land fill sand and then gravel again, a bit of stone then 60mm of top soil then turf it that's the best way. Regards Carl call me if you would like a quote.
