Mark said he could do the job for £60. I thought it was a bit overpriced but noticed that he had previously received 5* reviews from most customers and he said he could do the job the next day He returned 6 days later and did the job but didn’t clear up after himself and then changed the price to £100 just as he was walking out of the door

Quoted £60 cash on the phone and on first visit but changed this to £100 on leaving after completion and accepted payment by bank transfer

Mark phoned up within within about 20 minutes of the job being posted online which at the time I thought was a bit odd based on my previous experiences on this website but I thought he was probably short of work due to lockdown. He said He could do the job required obtaining a light and fitting it as described for £60. I thought it was a bit overpriced but noticed that he had previously received 5* reviews from most customers and he said he could do the job the next day

thank you for the feedback Mike, always appreciated. having gone over originally to rectify a lighting fault it was agreed that the light needed replacing. the light in question had to be a suitably ip rated fitting with an integrated PIR. these cost quite a bit so I actually didn't make anything extra at all. i only charged for the original call out and the cost of the new light. sorry if there was a misunderstanding but I would never charge anything extra without consent beforehand.
