Scheduled in the work 8 weeks in advance in order to fit in with his diary - he cancelled on me 2 days before the work was scheduled to start delaying my project significantly.

Can't really fault Nik and his Team. We had a couple of issues (nothing major) but he rectified them well and in good time. Generally very tidy and all around top bloke.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, as he's been generally very good and responsive.

Nik did a great job, he came at the time agreed and the work was completed to a high standard, he even did a small extra job at no additional charge. Excellent value too.

Nik tiled our kitchen splashback with Metro Tiles, removing the original wooden spashback and the remaining silicone.
He was punctual, friendly and completed the work to a very high standard.
We will be using him again for future projects and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family & friends.

Nik, is a reliable, competent and helpful individual. He was diligent in his work and I am very pleased with the results. Both him and his tradesman were professional and tidy. The only minor setback was that I had to clean some of the tiles. However I would definitely recommend Nik for any tiling work big or small.

I have 18x18 1/2" tick quartz tiles on a shower wall and floor. Can't figure out how to remove them. Tried chiseling behind them, but still can't get them up. And they don't crack, so can't just try to chip them off piece by piece. Help appreciated!
Hi I've been told that porcelain high gloss tiles are not ideal to be lain in a living room as they can get scored easily. Does anybody have any alternative to this, still looking for a 60x60cm high gloss tile. Thanks Pauline

Generally a good quality polished porcelain will not mark easily. What I would recommend is a decent floor cleaner that will not smear so you are not left with having to buff the floor up every time you clean.
I'm about to replace the carpet in my flat with solid wood and want to know what is the best way to reduce the noise down. If you have any specific suggestions for underlay or insulation please share. Thanks in advance, Alex

I have Duralay Silentflor Gold fitted in my house underneath engineered wood. It definitely reduces noise compared to other underlays.
