Perry was very helpful and friendly, he had the job quoted and done within a few days and was very honest about letting me know what actually needed doing rather than just doing what I'd asked for which would have been excessive. Thanks very much!

Perry and his colleague carried out some work on our roof to re-point the hips and chimney stacks. The work was carried out to a very high standard, and Perry even cleaned our gutters while he was up on the roof! Perry has a great deal of experience in roofing and talked me through all of the areas needing work before quoting, and clearly showed knowledge of his industry. As part of his work he takes Before and After photos so it's really easy to see the work and improvements. Would highly recommend.

Should old wood cladding be stripped off before new pic cladding put on.

Depends on what condition the existing wood cladding is in. Providing its not rotten I would leave it in place as it also gives a good fixing the the new cladding. This will also reduce the cost of works. Ventilation caps can be fitted if required.

Virgin media have installed cable through lead work, they have also shattered bricks, crack roof tiles and made some move which looks like a sagging roof on one side. They have agreed to put right. I now have to source a builder/roofer to put right. How much am I looking at paying roughly and any recommendations on a builder/roofer

I know how you feel with Virgin Media, I had the same problem. I'm a roofer, so I fixed the problems myself. The cost depends on where the damage has been caused, I'd have to see the damage to give an estimate, but normally you'd be looking at around £200 or so to fix these problems, bricks can be either repaired with resin, or replaced and lead can easily be cut out and re-placed and then re-dressed.
