Bathroom fitter

Did a good job at a reasonable rate, but could have done tidier work in places. Basically happy and would use again.

Did the job at a reasonable price (charging by the hour). Gave some useful advice on the heating system and recommended a way of fixing the problem myself rather than charging me more, which is great.

Prompt efficient. Would have been 5 stars all round but did have an unexpected cost (not much but unexpected) and did have to call him back due to a slight leak. He did come back immediately to sort it. So would definitely recommend.

Hi, I have a thermostat on a wall in my hallway however I'm convinced it's in the wrong place. My hallway gets quite warm (the sun bounces off the front of my house) but my living room is really cold so when I'm putting my heating on i have to keep increasing the temperature until my living room is warm enough yet my hallway Is too warm. I can't adjust the TVR in the hallway as it's the radiator closest to the thermostat so doesn't have one. Should I get the thermostat moved to the living room as it's the coldest room in my house? Thank you

It’s not quite that simple as you increasing the temperature on the thermostat is exactly the same as moving it to the living room as the hallway will still get as hot I would suggest turning down the flow to the hallway radiator, and making sure the trv as set lower upstairs as do warmer down stairs Hope this helps

When I put on an appliance such as the electric shower or dishwasher my lights dim, or if I am using my electric oven and I put on the extractor fan then the oven doesn't heat up properly .

I would strongly suggest you have a detailed eicr carried out (electrical instillation condition report) as that seems to be a serious fault
