The kitchen window frame is not supported in the middle there is movement which makes the window frame flex. Bedroom 1 measurements are incorrect as the windows will have to sit on the existing wooden frame which is what we want removed as they are aged and which is why we want them replaced with UPVC casing that will last longer. Building control won’t pass this window when it is installed for the following reasons. Issues too many to list in the text box that RP allow.

Bedroom 1 The lower windows need to be one pane for ease of escape in a fire. You have supplied non toughened glass and this window needs to be toughened safety as an requirement. It was initially spec’d as Sash window but a push out FENSA approved window would suffice. The front bay windows where spec’d as Sash UPVC frames the windows supplied are non-Sash and are push out openers. This will cause the following building control concerns.

Upper and lower windows will not be able to open fully due to the decorative stone protruding into the path of the window openings, upper and lower. No safety glass fitted in any of the lower panes. The window sizing taken will have the UPVC frames sitting on the rotting window frame which is the reason why we are removing all the wooden frames and having UPVC replacements. Measurements Incorrect, fitting atrocious , customer support nonexistent!
